CPHS Goes Cross Country at The 2018 Turkey Trot

Yesterday, October 4th, saw the CPHS High School Cross Country team head to St Michaels High School in Kemptville to run in the annual Turkey Trot meet. What started out as a wet affair in the morning, turned out to be a muddy slippery run for most.

In the Midget Boys category, Alex Barkell and Ferran Mogas Ko, worked hard to put in fast runs on the muddy 4k course.

Our Junior Girls, running just over 5k, comprised of Norah Massey, Trinity Snedden, Claire Chapman, Annika Culhane, and Skylar Etherington, claimed 3rd place in the Team category. Well done.

Cameron Ryan, our only Senior Boys competitor, ran a very solid 6k and pushed through with a great finish.

Mr.Strachan is very pleased with our runners and their dedication to the sport. Practices resume Tuesday, October 9, ahead of the Friday meet in North Dundas.
