Students from CPHS, working with the Carleton Place Refugee Committee, spent time on the weekend helping to prepare an apartment for a Syrian refugee family.  Students worked hard, filling, sanding and painting the walls of the apartment. The refugee committee continues to look for funds.  Anyone interested in contributing can visit http://cprefugees.com to make a donation.

Parent-Teacher interviews scheduled for intermediate students tonight will be moved to next Wednesday, March 2nd.  Interview times will stay the same.  Please contact the main office at 613-257-2720 if you will not be able to make next Wednesday so that we can arrange contact via telephone with the teachers in question.

After winning the round robin tournament played Friday and today, the CPHS bears girls hockey team will be hosting SFDCI at the Carleton Place arena at 2:00pm tomorrow in the county finals. Fans are encouraged to come out and cheer the team on.  Congratulations to the team and Coaches Ireton and Biggs.
