Student Council Runs Food Drive for Local Food Bank, September 30th – October 4th

Students from grades 7-12 are encouraged to bring in non-perishable food items and toileteries to support the Lanark County Food Bank in the school’s annual fall food drive. To encourage donations, students will earn points for their grade in support of the grade competition.  Donations will be accepted up until Friday of this week.

The CPHS Bears senior girls beat Almonte 55-22 in league play this week at CPHS.  The girls were cheered on by a large and supportive crowd. CPHS Raises Nearly $2900 for Terry Fox Foundation

CPHS participated in the annual Terry Fox Run this past Monday.  Several hundred runners and walkers followed a course that brought them through the middle of Carleton Place in perfect weather for the event. Mr. Bell and Ms. Hick’s phys ed classes recently enjoyed paddling the Mississippi River as part of their program.  Students learn the basics of paddling, changing places, and canoe-over-canoe rescue. [slideshow_deploy id=’2048′]
